About the Instructor:
Dr. Andrew Stotz, CFA
Andrew has been a financial analyst his whole career and has lived in Asia since 1992. He has been a university lecturer, in addition to his full-time work, for more than two decades and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and an MBA both from California State University. He also earned his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Science and Technology of China. In addition, he is has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2001.
Andrew co-founded A. Stotz Investment Research Limited (which provides investment services) and A. Stotz Academy (where he shares his knowledge on various subjects related to finance and business).
Over his 20+ year career, Andrew has been an equity analyst for large investment banks, with his most recent position as a portfolio strategist and managing director. Over that time he has written thousands of pages of equity research and was previously voted No. 1 analyst in Thailand.
He is an Advisory Board member at Thammasat Business School at Thammasat University and the President of CFA Society Thailand. In 1995, he co-founded CoffeeWORKS Co. Ltd., Thailand’s leading specialty coffee roaster.
