Instructor Profile

Better Editor is the passion project of Chris Salters – a seasoned freelance video editor who was schooled by running the gauntlet from PA to editor at a Hollywood trailer house. After years of editing original content for movies and TV shows he’s since built an industry leading video department from scratch for a NCAA Division I athletics department and also learned how to fold a fitted bed-sheet into a square. Now Chris produces video content for brands across the US and Canada from his home in the metroplex of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. When he’s not crushing edits and tweaking key frames, Chris protects his giant dog from his tiny toddlers and sometimes pretends to be good at mountain biking and basic carpentry. He drinks way too much coffee and loves a good beer.
