Fun and Helpful
Henry is a great instructor! I had taken a beginner class with another instructor at a community college, and I thought that Henry’s lessons were better. His explanations are very clear, and the pace is just right for a beginner class. I learned a few new things, particularly about strumming patterns, and I liked the simple songs he taught. I hadn’t picked up the ukelele since the 4th grade (and I’m 43!) and this was a great way to dive back in. Simple, clear instructions, practice assignments, and tips. Combined with listening to the actual songs on YouTube, I was able to play these well in about 2 weeks, and am able to pick up others with tab sheets with the same chords. Great approach!
