Dr. Knight's journey into the world of accounting ignited with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from LSU and a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of North Texas. He launched his career with Deloitte and Touche, LLP, one of the Big Four accounting giants, where he not only sharpened his expertise but also earned his CPA credentials. With over 15 years of hands-on experience spanning tax, financial reporting, analysis, and business management, Dr. Knight has become a powerhouse in the field. But his true passion lies in education. In 2015, he completed his Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) and shifted into academia, where he’s been inspiring future accountants and business leaders ever since. Dr. Knight is known for delivering highly engaging, practical courses that make even the most complex accounting topics approachable. Beyond the classroom, he leads training seminars and manages Accounting Hound, a website packed with valuable resources for accounting students and professionals alike. He’s also a published author, contributing journal articles and a book on accounting fundamentals.
